Welcome Neighbors dsp No. 2 box

I just love this little box!!! It is very fast and easy to make. (It would be even faster, it I had not cut out the two houses left over to pop up) Here is the box I got my inspiration from: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1618535?&si=neighbor

I cut off the top of the box and then punched the new Scallop trim border. I also put jumbo eyelets on the sides for my ribbon handle. Both houses and one cloud is popped with dimensionals.

Good Neighbors 3x3 card

Here is a card that I made in my work-shop today. Sorry this one is so sloppy, but I wanted a copy, after it turned out so cute today. (the roof was straight on the card my hostess got, but it is past my bedtime and I just had to make it tonight!!!) I think it turned out really nice, considering I did it on the fly. I have never made a card in a class without first making it a home, to make sure I like it. I sold alot of build a brads with this card.

The back side of the dsp that I used on the box was the cloud paper I used on the inside of the card, this panel is the top of the paper with the houses on it. The card I made earlier used the paper with the Bermuda Bay and Curry houses on it. The back side of that page is the Bermuda polka dot paper left over, so I used it for the build a brad.

I wrapped the Bermuda polka dot ribbon all the way around to hide the back of the build a brad on the inside of the card.

Circle Circus Make-n-take

The is the card I used as a make-n-take at my last two workshops. Everyone enjoyed making this fun card. I changed the envelope design for the second card to the one shown here and like it much better than a few circles in the bottom right hand corner.

XL 2 step bird with Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper

Here is one the the cards I will demo at my workshop this Saturday. I got my inspritation for this card from a frame done with the Sweet Pea paper and Two step bird. Inside of card

Technique for inside of card: I punched the bird, leaf and wing out of scrap paper, then discarded punched out pieces (you can also save for a later project). Using the sponge dauber, I sponge Old Olive ink inside the bird, then the wing and then the leaf. I  love to make my own stencil and use on the inside of a card. Thanks for looking.

Scallop circle die dress in vellum embossed with Manhattan flower

I haven't made one of these dress cards since last April, so when I saw  Eileen's dress in vellum I knew it was time to revisit this fun technique. Paper: Whsiper White cardstock, Bermuda Bay cardstock and Designer Series Paper, Cardstock vellum
Ink: Bermuda Bay
Accessories: Bermuda Polka Dot ribbon (folded in half), Scallop circle Bigz Die, Manahattan Flower embossing folder (SU exclusive), Filigree Brads, Scallop Oval punch, Eyelet border punch

I originally learned to make this dress from Patty. The directions to make the dress are here: http://pattystamps.typepad.com/patty...g_spot/page/2/. I added a white petticoat at the top and bottom of the dress. The eyelet border punch cuts off part of the front of the card, so I took a piece of the same dsp as the dress and used the eyelet border punch on it also and attached it to the right side of the inside of the card. (so the pattern shows under the front eyelet border, You only see the punched part of the pink dsp when card is open. I decided to use the Tres Chic background stamp and really love how it turned out!
