Perennial Lavender and Comforting Thoughts

I love this fun fold I found on Robin Armbrecth’s blog post from January of this year. So I looked at my current Designer Series papers because I knew I needed three coordinating papers. I chose to use the Lavender set. This set came out in the January – April 2024 mini catalog but I just never got a chance to use it. Luckily for me Stampin’ Up! Not only carried over the stamp and dies, but the Designer paper as well.

This card gets it name because it is z fold card, but also has a book binding fold. Then you cut your three different designer papers 4 inch by (you guessed it) 1 inch, 2 inch and 3 inch. Imagine the fun you can have with this fold and all you paper packs.

I’ve been wanting to use my lavender set since January and this fold said today is that day. I hope you like it.

Supplies:

Stamps: Painted Lavender and Comforting Thoughts.

Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Lost Lagoon

Paper: Lost Lagoon and Vanilla cardstock, Perennial Lavender designer series paper.

This is a two ste3p stamp. Stamp the larger stamp in Gorgeous Grape and the smaller on top using Highland Heather. Stamp the stems using Lost Lagoon. Die cut all pieces using the Perennial Lavender dies.
4.     Stamp sentiment from Comforting Thoughts stamp set in Lost Lagoon ink. Glue one flower to panel on right side tucking the stem under the flower. Cut off any stem hanging over. Glue panel between score line and 2” designer series paper.
