Impressions Abloom peek through opening

This card features the Impressions Abloom stamp and die set. Besides the flowers and leaves you get cool dies like featured here. One cuts out the front of the card and the second makes the awesome stitched oval frame. Also check out the flower centers. There is a die included in the set that cuts out the circles for the flower center. Then one that doesn't cut but pierces the paper. Such a awesome stamp and die set that I'm sure you will want to add to your stash. The sentiment comes from the Sentimental Framing stamp set also available in May.

This photo shows that the sentiment is actually on the inside of the card.

Cutting instructions:

Soft Sea Foam card stock:  card base 8 ½ x 5 ½” scored at 4 ¼”

White card stock:  4” x 5 ¼”, ¾” x 1 ¾” for flower centers, scraps for leaves and flowers

Petal Pink card stock: 3 ½” x 4 ¼”

Assembly instructions:

Cut card base out of Soft Sea Foam, scoring at 4 ¼”

Die cut Oval out of front of card front using solid oval die. Die cut oval frame out of Petal Pink cardstock. Glue Petal Pink frame to card front using multipurpose glue or add adhesive sheets (152334) prior to die cutting.

Glue white inside mat to inside of card. Stamp sentiment through oval opening using Highland Heather ink.

On a scrap piece of white card stock stamp large flower with Highland Heather ink, then use a blender brush to lightly add ink to cover all the white space. Die cut using coordinating dies.

On a scrap piece of white card stock stamp two medium (daisy looking) flowers and one small flower using Petal Pink ink. Use a blending brush to lightly add Petal Pink ink to cover white space. Die cut flowers using coordinating dies.

Sponge Lemon Lolly ink on a ¾” x 1 ¾” piece of white card stock and die cut one large flower center and three small flower centers. Note: add die that pierces the flower center simultaneously with the circle die. Glue flower centers to flowers.

Add flowers and leaves to card front, tucking leaves behind the small and medium flowers. I glued down the Petal Pink medium flower on the right, then popped up the larger Highland Heather flower. I added a small dimensional to the left side of smallest Petal Pink flower and a touch of glue on the part that overlays the Heather flower.

Add second flower and single leaf to inside of card (making sure it does not show through to the front)

Stamp flower on the bottom left side of envelope or on the back flap. Your card is ready to send to a lucky recipient.
