Bubble Gath
card stock: card base 8 ½ x 5 ½” scored at 4 ¼”, scrap-die cut 1 ¾”
circle
White card
stock: 4” x 5 ¼” -inside, 3” x 4 ½” pig head and body, small scrap –
for flags and sentiment
Window Sheet
– scrap to cut 2” circle
Assembly
instructions:
1. Cut card
base (8 ½ x 5 ½”) out of Bubble Bath, scoring at 4 ¼”. Cut a 4” x 5 ¼” white front
panel and emboss with the Painted Plaster 3D embossing folder using the Stamp
Cut and Emboss machine and the gray specialty plate. Using a blending brush and
Smokey Slate ink pad rub ink all over embossed panel to give it a dirty look. Attach to card front using multi purpose liquid
glue.
2. Stamp Pig head, body and flags on white cardstock. Color with the light and dark Bubble Bath and Smokey Slate Stampin’ Blends. I colored the hoofs with the dark Smokey Slate and the spots with the light. The inside of the ear color with a light Stampin’ blend. Die cut all pieces, adding the circle in the body with die cutting. Note: add a light tack tape to make sure circle stays centered in the pig’s body. Punch a circle out of window sheet and a piece of Bubble Bath cardstock using the 2 inch circle punch.
3. Add tear
tape all around the die cut out circle in the pig’s body on the back side. Remove
backing and attach window sheet circle. Add Foam Adhesive strips around the
circle. The foam strips bend well to make a circle. Make sure that your seam is
tight so none of the Loose Shaker Elements can fall out. Add the Loose Shaker
Elements before you remove backing. Remove backing and adhere Bubble Bath
circle to foam tape, making sure to cover all the tape, so none of the shaker
elements can come out. The window sheet and Bubble Bath circles are larger than
the circle in the pig’s body to make these steps easier, but still small enough
to fit inside the pig’s body.
4. Glue pigs
heat to pig’s body, only adding glue when the head and body meet. Add a couple
of strips of Foam adhesive strips to pig’s head, remove backing. Add
Multipurpose liquid glue to Bubble Bath circle and adhere to card. Add two mini
Stampin’ dimensionals to flags. Add a small dab of liquid glue to poles on the
front side. Remove backing from dimensionals and add flags to card, pressing
the flag poles to the back of the pig’s hoof.
5. Stamp
sentiment using Memento black ink, dog ear the ends and sponge around the
entire sentiment strip with a sponge dauber. Adhere to card tucking the left
side under the pig.
6. Stamp party flags on the bottom right side of inside panel, color with blends and adhere to inside of card. Stamp additional sentiment if desired.
7. Stamp party
flags from the stamp set on the bottom left side of envelope or on the back
flap. Your card is ready to send to a lucky recipient.
