Sweet Centers Halloween

I actually make this card last week and just have not had the chance to post it. I am glad to report that today is the 5th day in a row that I have not been sick. So knock on wood, I am finally better!!!

Don't you just love the new Sweet Centers stamp set in the Stampin' Up! Holiday mini catalog?

Here is my Halloween version.
All suppies Stampin' Up!
Stamp Set: Sweet Centers, House of Haunts, Twick or Tweet, Sanded Backround, Frightful Fence jumbo stampin' around wheel.
Paper: Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black Craft. Basic gray classic, White craft, White jumbo cartridge (made with empty cartridge and craft white ink refill)
Accessories: Sweet Treat cups, Black embossing powder, White embossing powder, Basic Black 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, 1 1/4" circle and 1 3/4" circle punches, stampin sponge, watercolor crayons, aqua painter

Here is the outside once the candy is removed. To make the moon I punched a 1 1/4" circle, and used the remaining paper as a template, placing it on my card and sponging inside the circle with White craft ink. A 1 3/4" circle is punched in the card front. A 1/14" circle punches out the center of the Sweet Centers stamp. The Sanded backgroud is stamp on Whisper White cut slightly larger than stamped image. The center (punched out) is glued to an additional white piece of cardstock cut into a tag, that fits behind the Sweet Centers stamped image with a piece of 1/4" black grosgrain ribbon used as a pull tab.  On the inside of the card I stamped the bird from the Twick or Tweet stamp set on the back of the tag. When the tag is pulled it makes a opening to remove the candy without tearing up the card. If you notice the white specks on my card, that is what happens when you forget to use your embossing buddy, but since this is a Halloween card the specks did not ruin the card. Moral of the story, DO NOT FORGET to use your embossing buddy.   Thanks for lookin'
