January 2021 Sending Hearts Paper Pumpkin Kit

I really loved the January 2021 Sending Hearts Paper Pumpkin kit. It came with a really great stamp set you can see pictured below.
This first card pretty much followed the card given except I cut the card in half trimmed it down to 4" x 5 1/4" and put it on a black card base. I put the other half on the inside since it is light enough that you could stamp or write on. This month we also got a spool of black ribbon and these cool epoxy hearts used on this card. The heart outline and flowers were pre printed on the white card front. I stamped the inside with of the heart with the awesome stamp included added the ribbon and hearts. The Love and scallop were punch out die cuts also included in the kit. So the only thing not in the kit was the black cardstock.
This card I did almost exactly as the sample except the placement of the ribbon and I chose to stamp the sentiment in black ink (not included). The mailbox and red and brown hearts and flowers were pre printed. I added the epoxy hearts and stars included in the kit. You also get the dimensional pops and adhesive dots with your kit.
This card features the snail stamp included in the kit. He is so adorable. I cased this card from someone and I cannot find it now to give them credit. I did make a few minor changes just to Janitize it, lol.

Here is the card once you open it. I used the large heart to stamp the panel at the top of the card and the small hearts and flowers cluster at the inside bottom. I used the Stitched be mine dies from the June 2020 to May 2021 catalog. Since that die cuts the scallop heart as an outline and cuts the inside out at the same time I was able to make it all white on the inside and a white heart with red scallop outline on the front using the same die.

Ink. Real Red and Momento Black
Stampin' Blends: Light and Dark Real Red, Ivory
Paper: Real Red, White and Thick White
Accessories: Stamp, Cut and Emboss Machine, Stitched Be Mine dies  and Layering Squares dies

Hearts & Kisses Bundle - You go girl card

When I first went through the January -June 2021 mini catalog the Hearts and Kisses stamp set caught my eye. I love the sentiments , the lips, the lipstick, the hearts and the fun scribble backround (not used on this card). There is a punch that goes with this stamp set the punches the lips and large heart (not used) Then when Frenchie posted a card using this set I knew I had to make it. So I cased her card, using it as a card sketch. I loved the idea of the lips in the mirror, putting on lipstick and the heart border on the inside so I cased that. I opted for Magenta Madness and black and also to use Basic Gray on my lipstick tube (coloring the stamp with the markers) rather than have it the same color as the lipstick. Then I chose to use patterned paper as my back ground and stamped the sentiment in Magenta and cut around the sentiment. I glued down the frame, mirror, lips and sentiment and then popped the lipstick. I hope you love it as much as I do.

Oh Snap - You Croc My World

Don't you just love this adorable crocodile? I paired him with the Oh so Ombre Designer Series Paper you can earn for FREE during Sale a-bration (January 5 - February 28, 2021) with a qualifying order of $50.00. I like the Bermuda Bay pattern to emulate him being in a lake. When I googled crocodile images I saw that they can also be gray which looked a lot better with Bermuda Bay Paper. All supplies used are Stampin' Up! and available at my online store.

 Directions:

1. Cut a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock in half at 5 1/2". Score at 4 1/4"
2. Cut a card front out of the Bermuda Bay Designer series paper 4" x 5 1/4" and glue to card.
3. Using Black Momento ink stamp the crocodile on the Designer Series paper and on a scrap of Thick
White cardstock. The reason you stamp on the designer paper is to get his eyebrows. Color the croc with the Light Gray Granite Stampin' Blends and then around edges and scales with the Dark Gray Granite. Fussy cut out using your paper snips. Using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals add crocodile to card front making sure when placing  dimensionals to leave opening for heart.
4. Die cut a heart out of Thick White cardstock using the Stitched Be Mine dies. Use the new Blending Brush to add Rich Razzleberry ink to your heart. Stamp sentiment on heart using Momento Black ink.
Add a dot of Tombo Multi Liquid glue to bottom on heart and place under the bottom jaw of the croc.
Add a dot of glue to the top jaw to hold heart in place.

Supplies used:
Stamps: Oh Snap
Ink: Momento Black, Rich Razzleberry
Stampin' Blends: Light and Dark Gray Granite
Paper: Bermuda Bay cardstock, Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper, Thick white cardstock

Kangaroo & Company -Valentines Day card

I love this kangaroo stamp set with all the fun things to put in her pouch. It wasn't until I stamped, colored and die cut it that I realized that the slit in her pouch cut with the die cut. Goodbye Exacto knife! It also had to look at the catalog samples to figure out what the one die was. When I saw it was to put things into the pouch I was in awe. Whoever designed the stamp and die did an amazing jog in my opinion. When I saw a card by Cindy Brumbaugh using the Stitched hearts dies with the Kangaroo I had to make this card. I changed the color of cardstock, the embossing folder used and put the hearts in the pouch. I also put the sentiment on the pull tab instead of on the front of the card. All supplies used in this card are available in my online store here. Supplies used are listed below.

Forever and Always

I love the Forever and Always stamp set on page 13 of the January - June mini catalog. I have paired it with the coordinating Always dies and True Love Designer series paper. I really like the pop of pink on the black and white card. I cased this card from a card done by Brian King you can see here. I used Flirty Flamingo instead of Blushing Bride and put my stamped image at the top since I used the Forever & stamp instead of the Together stamp Brian used. I used the die cut love and  shadow on the inside to coordinate with the Always on the outside. I also stamped the smaller flower up in the corner and a sentiment under the love in black. All supplies are from Stampin' Up! and can be purchase on my online store here. And since it is Sale a-bration through the end of February you can earn exclusive Sale a-bration stamps or paper with you qualified purchase. Supplies used are listed below.
