I have been busy making cards but failing to post them, so you will want to check back every day for the next week, maybe two, as I will be posting a card a day until caught up.
I love the new Striped Scallop Die. I have seen a lot of samples tone on tone, and even though I love that look I wanted the die to really pop, so I used two coordinating colors. I still am enjoying playing with my Blendabilities. When you use alcohol markers don't get frustrated if you don't get exactly what you want. You just need to play with them until you are able to get the effect you want. They also take a while to dry, so you don't really see the finished effect for awhile. I always teach that you never have a mistake on a card, just a plan "B", so when I got some speckles on my card, I just added more, so they looked like they belonged. On this particular card I did not blend as much as I normally do choosing to have more definition in the color changes. I am quite pleased with the results. This card would be good for almost any occasion.
