Easy Shaker card featuring Wishes and Wonder

You will not believe how easy it is to make a shaker card using the clear translucent medium envelopes from Stampin' Up! This was shown to us last weekend at the Stampin' Up! OnStage at home event for demonstrators. If you are interested in joining Stampin' Up! and attending these events please let me know. I would love to have you on my team.

If you love this deer then you need to see the stamp and die set I used on this card. You can view it here: https://www.stampinup.com/products/wishes-wonder-bundle-(english). I added a piece of cardstock vellum on top of the designer paper to soften the color.

Here is also a photo of the inside of the card.

All supplies Stampin' Up! unless noted and available at my one line store. www.janetloves2stamp.stampinup.net

Stamps: Wishes and Wonder

Ink: Shaded Spruce and Soft Suede

Paper: Shaded Spruce and Whisper White cardstock, Tis the Season designer series paper and Vellum cardstock.

Accessories: Stamp, Cut and Emboss machine, Magnetic Cutting Plate, North Pole Wonder dies, Clear translucent medium envelopes, Sequins for Everything, Paper trimmer, Simply Scored scoring tool, Bone folder, Tear and Tape, Glue dots. Take your Pick took,  Tombo multi purpose liquid glue, Stampin' Dimensionals, Scotch Tape.

Cutting Instructions:

Card base:  Shaded spruce8 1/2" x 5 1/2"

One each of Designer Paper, Cardstock Vellum and Whisper White  4" x 5 1/4"

Whisper White scraps to stamp sentiment and deer.

Steps:

1. Place vellum on top of designer paper and place in clear envelope. Add designer amount of green sequins from the Sequins for Everything set.

2. Seal envelope closing as tight as possible on the side. Fold top down to back also as close as possible and tape with Scotch tape. Burnish both top and sides with bone folder. Adhere to card front with Tear and Tape.

3. Stamp the inside sentiment in Shaded Spruce using the Stamparatus for perfect alignment. Stamp deer on Soft Suede on right side at the bottom. Adhere to inside of card. I used Tombo Multi purpose liquid glue.

4. Stamp sentiment in Shaded Spruce on scrap of Whisper White and trim close. Stamp deer in Soft Suede on scrap and die cut out. Die cut two large leaves and four small leaves using the dies from the bundle. Using the piercer end of your Take Your Pick tool roll up a glue dot and place one at the bottom leave on each piece. I didn't add a glue dot at the top, but you may if you want. Adhere sentiment to front of card about a 1/4" up on the clear envelope. Determine where you want your deer and before attaching attached leaves so the stem is behind the deer. Add deer with Stampin' Dimensionals.

5. Don't forget to decorate your envelope and you are done!
