Flight of the Butterfly accordion card

The February 2008 Stampin' Success magazine (for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators) had an accordion card done with hearts that I really liked, I did mine with butterflies. Don't you just love the way the butterflies seem to fly off the page? This is a fun, easy card to make. This card will also be a part of my June stamp camp.

Shabby Chic True Friend card

One of the great perks of being a Stampin' Up! demon-strator is getting a monthly magazine from Stampin' Up!. Back in the January - March 2007 issue was a card by Michele Boyer in Bristow, Virgina. I really like her shabby layered card and used it for inspiraion for this card. Her card was square, my is the regular A-2 (invitation) size. I also used a different stamp set, different colors, and replaced her designer paper with the textured embossing folder. This will be one of the projects in my June stamp camp.

Happy Grad graduation card
I needed a grad-uation card for my grand-daughter,so this is what I came up with. I found tassels at my favorite dollar store that had the little 2010 charm and I wanted to use that, so I thought a graduation cap would be just the ticket. I used the Happy Grad stamp from the 2010 Summer Mini Catalog and Tassel Time (a retired stamp set). I wish now I had ordered the Go, Graduate from the Summer Mini. I am still happy how it turned out. This is a 4x4 card. I used the jumbo brad and make it black by pressing into my black craft pad and embossing with black embossing powder. The inside bottom of the card has a pocket to put money in.
