Here is another Blended Bloom card I promised a week or so ago. I got waylaid with the masculine cards for Fathers Day, but today I had time to sneak this one in.
If you have never played with Alcohol markers before the Blended Bloom stamp is a great one to get. I has nice big areas for you to pay and experiment with. I love the simplicity of this card. Just stamp, ink paper, but I did pop up the flower. The border from the Summer Silhouettes was just enough to give the card some color but not overpower the flower.
Thank you for stopping by. Happy Stampin'

Wetlands and background using the Simply Scored diagonal plate
Another Wetlands card. Once I started using that stamp set I could not stop. I have always loved the little Sandpipers at the beach. They are so entertaining to watch as the run towards the ocean as the waves go out and back towards the beach as the waves come in.
I have been playing around a lot with my Blender Pen and the Aqua Painter. I tend to prefer the Aqua Painter, but learned the Blender pen works much better on the birds body and coloring the center panel. I tried the Blender pen on the water, and the Aqua Painter wins hands down there.
Using the Simply Scored with the measurements on both the top and side, made scoring this card using the Diagonal plate super easy. A great tip is to rub your card stock with wax paper first. It makes the scoring much easier. I will be making some more scored cards, so check back. If you subscribe or follow my blog it is easier to know when I have a new post. Now, get out your Simply Scored and Diagonal plate and start having fun. Man's suit card
He is another Fathers Day inspired card. Even thought the suit card has been around awhile, I loved this card with the sweater vest instead of just a shirt. I thought the new Arrow Textured Impressions embossing folder and the Chevron paper look great together. The Candy dots are also great because they are so easy to use. The bow tie is made by punching out two pieces from the large Oval punch, and folding in half, do not crease the end as you want it rounded. Attach the two pieces to a small scrap of paper. Cut a small rectangle of matching paper and wrap around the two ends.

Woodlands with sponged background
I love the Woodlands stamp set for masculine and beach cards. This card is fast and easy. I colored the grasses with the Blender pen and ink from the lid of a ink pad. I used the same technique except with the Aqua Painter for the Goose. The background is sponged with three separate blue ink and then the Candy Dots were added.

Traveler, Postage Due and Really Good Greetings
This week I will be posting masculine cards since Father's Day is fast approaching. Besides Father's Day you can also use them for Birthday, Thinking of You, Miss you or any other occasion you have to give a man a card. I love the old time vintage feel of this card. I think I am going to try it with the Burlap ribbon instead of mesh. I will add that picture at the bottom of this post later.
