Cutting instructions:
White card stock:
cut two 5 ½” x 4 ½”, score at ½”, 1”, 4 ½” and 5”
Designer
paper: 3” x 4 ¼” for inside, 5 1/2 “ x 4 ¼” for card front scored same as card
stock.
White card
stock scraps for stamping one large plane, two small planes, and one each of
the three clouds.
Directions:
1. Glue smaller
designer paper (blue) just inside the score lines. (see photo).
5. Stamp Happy
Birthday in Night of Navy ink. Die cut with banner die. I slid the end of my
die down closer to the y in birthday and ran through the machine a second time
to cut shorter. You could just use your paper snips to dog ear it smaller if
you prefer.
6. Die cut using
a scrap of Smokey Slate card stock the cable that connects the banner to the
plane. Cut on top of banner and glue under the largest plane. Glue largest
plane to largest cloud.
7. If you want
a sentiment on the back or sign card now would be a good time to do that. It is not impossible to do at the end, but easier now when flat and smooth.
8. Add Tear
Tape to back panel up against both edges (see photo).
9. Add front to back lining up carefully. Also make sure your inner folds down on the card front and up on the inside. (see photo)
10. Glue
smallest cloud inside the circle on the inside (Blue) panel. Add a small plane
using a mini Stampin’ Dimensional. Glue medium sized cloud to the bottom left
side of the front panel hanging over the first score line. (make sure not to
add glue past the score line.
11. Attach the
Large plane with cloud and banner to card front using mini Stampin’
Dimensionals, also making sure not to attach past the score line.
You are
done. Imagine all the stamps sets and designer paper you could use with this
card fold.
