Prized Peony mask card

Today I want to share with you this cool card featuring the Peony Garden Suite in the current Stampin' Up! Idea book and catalog. This fun card opens up to not only a card, but a surprise gift of a mask. I used a sentiment I had left over from the Share Sunshine download earlier this year. But you could add any sentiment that you currently have on hand. I think this card could be used for any occasion. All items used to make this card, besides the mask of course are available on my web site. Simply click on the shop now button on your left. Thank you for stopping by.  Please subscribe to receive notifications on when I post and also sign up for my email newsletter. Thanks again. Happy Stampin!

Face mask, not Stampin' Up!

1. Gray Granite card stock cut at 8 1/2' x 8 1/2'. Score at 4 1/4". Turn and Score at 4 1/8" and 4 3/8"

cut out on score lines up to center score line.

2. White card stock 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" and scrap to stamp flower and leaves. Die cut flower and leaves from die set.

3. Cut Peony Garden  paper to 6" x 6". Then cut off a 2" x 6" piece, and cut that off so you have a 2' x 4" and a 2" x 2" piece (set the 2' x 4' aside for the front of the card, if your paper is directional this will be cut different than the other three pieces)  Turn paper and cut into three 2" x 6" pieces. Cut your 2" X 2" Square diagonally. Sponge all designer paper pieces.

4. Using a small circle die cut out a notch in the front panel. Cut out notches on the other three panels by first lining up and tracing previous notch so that they all match up. See photo above.

5. Glue designer paper in place as shown in photos above.  Glue leaves as shown in photo and using Stampin' Dimensionals pop up flower on the front of card. Stamp sentiment on white square and add to inside panel. You may need to cut a notch in the white also.

6. Add a mask and use mask strings to close the card.
