Natures Beauty and Mountain Air Z fold card

This deer from Natures Beauty has always been a favorite of mine. Look at these die cut trees from the Majestic Mountain dies, are they not amazing? I also stamped some trees using the Mountain Air stamp set. Except for not gluing my trees on straight, I think this card is pretty awesome. All products used in the card are from Stampin' Up! and available on my online store. Supplies used and instructions are listed below. 

Supplies used: 

Stamp: Natures Beauty, Mountain Air and Many Mates. 

Ink: Shaded Spruce, Garden Green and Early Espresso

Paper: Very Vanilla, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake cardstock. In Good Taste designer series paper. 

Accessories: Stamp, Cut and Embossing machine, Majestic Mountain dies, Trimmer, Paper snips, Simply Scored scoring tool, (If I had used my Stamparatus my Its your day stamp would have been straight), Silicone craft sheet, Multi purpose liquid glue, Stampin' dimensionals, Bone folder, Water Painters

Directions: 

1. Cut card base11" x 4.25" using Early Espresso card stock. Score at 2.75" and 5 1/2". Cust second piece at and second piece 10" x 3.25" and score at 4" and 7".

2. Cut one piece 5 1/4" x 4" and two 2 1/2" x 4" using Designer Series paper. 

3. Cut two pieces of Very Vanilla at 3" x 2.75" and one at 3" x 3.75"

4. Die cut three trees using the Majestic Mountain dies and shaded Spruce cardstock. Hint: Use the Silicone craft mat to keep glue from getting on your table. 

5. Stamp deer using Early Espresso ink onto Crumb Cake cardstock. Decide where you deer and die cut trees will go and stamp trees behind the deer using Shaded Spruce on Vanilla cardstock. stamping off some for depth. Using Garden Green ink pad and Water Painters do a color wash along the bottom for grass. 

6. Glue trees letting the tops go off the top of the cardstock. Hint: Use the Silicone craft mat to keep glue from getting on your table. Add Deer using Stampin' Dimensionals. 

7. Stamp desired sentiment using the Stamparatus. I recomment stamping in the Early Espresso instead the of Shaded Spruce I used. 

8. Glue Designer series paper to card. Add Vanilla stamped pieces to 10" piece of Early Espresso. Fold like a Z. Fold back card base to also make a Z. Place glue on the Vanilla piece with the Happy Birthday sentiment on it and attach to card base making sure to position it down low enough that the trees do no extent over card base. Glue panel with deer to front panel making sure to only add glue to section that will be attached. A portion of it will be free standing (see photo below). You are finished. This is a standard A2 card and fits into the Stampin' Up! medium size envelopes.
