I love to eerie
look when you use Blending brushes and Basic gray ink to make the night sky. A
small strip I also love the large sentiments from the Halloween Memories stamp
set designed for scrapbook titles but look great on this card. Adding a little
ink around all the edges on the inside adds to the spooky look.
Stamps: Humble Home, Halloween Memories and Grassy Grove
Cutting directions
Basic Black card base, 5 12/2” x 8 1/2” scored at 4 ¼”
White: cut two 4” x 5 ¼”, scraps for house, roof door and windows
Designer paper: ½” x 5 ½”
Masking Paper 4” x 5 ¼” and small scrap
Assembly instructions:
Card front:
1. Using a 1” circle punch or a circle die punch out circle in
Masking paper when you would like your moon to be. Save both pieces. Add mask
to card. Use a blending brush with Crushed Curry ink to color in your moon. Remove
mask from card front and add mask circle over your moon.
2. Using a blending brush and Basic gray ink apply ink all over
on one of the white panels, starting on a scrap of paper then moving brush to
card front. Stamp brick house using Basic Gray ink and punch out using Humble
Home builder punch. Stamp roof on punched out house using Momento black ink. On
a scrap paper stamp the door and windows once in Momento Black and once in
Crushed Curry. Fussy cut door and windows and glue to house using Tombo liquid
glue.
3. Stamp trees from the Grassy grove stamp set using Momento
Black ink.
4. Using the blending brush ink strip of designer paperjust enough
to make the white circles light gray, Be careful not to ink to dark and hide
the circles.
5. Cut a small mask and place where the door will be on your
house to make a sidewalk, blending heavly on the sidewalk to cover the circles.
6. Stamp sentiment on card front using Momento Black ink.
7. Glue card front to card base.
8. Attach house to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Inside:
9. Using a blending brush and Basic gray ink to add ink lightly
all around the inside white panel.
10.Stamp sentiment with Momento Black ink.
11. Attach to inside of card.
