Card using the Season of Green and Gold designer series paper

If you want a card with a wow factor and a minimum of stamping then this is the card for you. The designer paper is not only on the two front panels, the green with gold accent leaves are die cut from the paper pack. Add some die cuts in Garden Green, Mossy Meadow an Gold to really jazz up the card. The only stamping on the front is the word Merry. Add a stamped sentiment and die cut image from designer paper to inside to finish up your card. I don't know what this fun fold card is called, It is a Z fold with a side flap.

Assembly instructions:

1. Cut all papers per cutting instructions. glue 1” portion of flap on right side of card base approximately 5/8” from top folding towards left side of card. Glue designer series paper to flap. Fold card front back (making a z fold) and glue designer paper to front.

2. Die cut two fronds on Mossy Meadow using the Golden Greenery dies. Glue the large one on the left side of flap allowing it to extend off at the top. Glue the smaller on the right side.

3. Die cut large leaf using the Golden Greenery dies in both Garden Green and Gold foil. Adhere first the Garden green then gold to flap centering and off set from each other, extending over flap but not over top of card base.

4. Die cut two leaves using the Golden Greenery dies from the designer paper and glue down.

5. Die cut the word Christmas from the Peaceful Seasons die set out of gold foil and the shadow in Mossy Meadow. Glue down to a strip of Vanilla card stock 1” X 4 1/4”.

6. Stamp MERRY in Mossy Meadow ink above the die cut word. Dog ear ends. Pop up on flap using Foam adhesive strips leaving approximately 1/8” of designer paper showing beneath.

Inside.

1. Place vanilla card stock on inside of card. Fold card closed and flap down and use a pencil to lightly mark where the vanilla shows when card closed.

2. Stamp sentiment from the Peaceful Season stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink on left side of card, making sure not to stamp in the portion that will show from the front.

3. Die cut frond from designer paper and add to right side of Vanilla, above the pencil line. I used a piece that was on the edge of the designer paper since I didn’t need the bottom of image.

Envelope:

Stamp one the leaf images on the bottom left corner using Garden Green ink pad.
