My Digital Studio Designer template

This page was created using the Designer Template option. It seriously took less than 5 minutes to create this page. I started with the Designer Cocoa II, page 1 template. I removed a white snowflake border from the bottom of the page. The Merry was all white so I changed it by adding Real Red, Old Olive and Soft Suede. I also changed the bird to Soft Suede. The text is Bradly Hand, (another one of my fav's). I then added my 4 photos by just dragging them to the photo box. I had to rotate a couple of photos, and remove red eye from one. (Yes, MDS has the capabilities of doing all of these functions, andy many more!) When printed, I will probably add glitter to the ornaments. Add Linen thread to my buttons, then put Crystal effects on them. I cannot believe this page was created so fast. Even if I go Hybrid (by adding glitter, thread and Crystal Effects, I will only have 10 minutes into this page. I cannot remember that last time I completed a page in less than one hour.
I love this program soooo much, I don't know how I survived so long without it.
Say it with me girls, "I'm scrapping and I just can't stop!!!"

Having fun with My Digital Studio

I used the create your own template for this 12x12 scrapbook page. I started with the Christmas Cocoa II, pattern 2 paper as my background. Then brought in Real Red cardstock as a layer and sized it to cover the bottom 2/3 of the page. I added the Christmas Jingle border 3 (trees), below that I placed Old Olive Grosgrain ribbon. Next I brought in the Christmas jingle red, green striped and brown ornaments. I added a drop shadow to all three ornaments.  I used Whisper white grosgrain ribbon and bows (resized smaller) to hang the ornaments. I added the Christmas Jingle tag 3 at the top of my page. To make my photo mat I used the Christmas Jingle olive border, which I sized larger. I then added Old Olive cardstock as a layer and sized it to fit just inside my olive border. I added a layer of the Christmas Cocoa II, pattern 2. I copy and pasted the pattern 2 paper twice to get the width I wanted, grouped them together, then copy and pasted that, to get the height I wanted. I imported my photo, added a Old Olive mat. My text is Lucida Handwriting (one of my fav's)
I was really suprised how fast this page came together. I am quite pleased.
I think the only thing I might add when printed is crystal effects or glitter to the ornaments.
Let me know what you think.

Noel Accordian Tag

I cased this tag: taylored expressions.blogspot.com/search/label/alteredart and of course made a few changes to make it my own. Her tag is a much larger (8"), mine is 4 1/4" so you can get two accordian bases from one sheet of cardstock. I ran my ribbon behind my square mats and put all my knots (did I tell you I don't do bows) at the top of the tags instead of randomly. I also made a few adjustments to use all Stampin' Up! products (of course!!!) I am quite please at how it turned out. Thanks Taylor for the inspiration. This projedt is also a part of Decembers stamp camp and you will receive a tag template to take home with your class kit. See my calendar for camp dates.
