Christmas Tag Bitty Box
Here is another stamp camp project that your are going to love. You will make this awesome little box and 6 gift tags to go inside. (the box would easily hold 12 tags, if you so desired). I cased the box from Tami White at Stamp with Tami. I made several modifications to Tami's project. I used Real Red and Glorious Green for my box. I did not have the snowflake stamp and snowflake punch, so I used the Sizzlets snowflakes and punched them out of gold paper. I also added a rhinestone brad to my snowflake and a mat around my modern label punch. Then I used the Christmas punch hostess set to make my tags instead of making the tags out of the envelope portion of the Bitty Box and envelope die. I also added Champagne shimmer paint to my red embossed paper. The combination of the shimmering red and gold, with the rhinestone is quite stunning.

Christmas stocking gift card holder and ornament

Here is one of the fun projects I will be offering at my December stamp camp. This fun stocking cuff opens up to reveal a gift card or money, and can also be used as an ornament.  I got the idea of a stocking gift card holder from Andrea Walford. Denise, my helper and I made significant modifications to Andrea's stocking. Ours is taller, with a different shape and we added a scalloped cuff. You can receive the template and instructions by attending the camp, or by making an order of $25.00 or more at http://www.janetloves2stamp.stampinup.net/ Click on my calendar for stamp camp dates.

Photo Corners Christmas Tree Card

I have been in a Stamp club for about7-8 years now and this is the card we made for our November club at the home of Lisa Justus. I changed the dsp, replaced the white card for Soft Suede, changed the back star to Suede, embosed both the red star and the sentiment and used Vintange brads instead of silver, I also changed the sentiment, but left the layout the same. I really like the way the Suede, Olive and Real Red look together. The Holly and berry paper from the Christmas Cocoa Dsp had a white base, so I sponged it with Old Olive and a dauber just enought to take away the white. I also sponged around the White panel. The green dsp is from Merry Moments. My cardstock colors came from the Real Red and Soft Suede in the Christmas Cocoa paper and the Old Olive in the Merry Moments paper. I just love this cards and slit punch technique. My helper, Denise and I came up with a template to make lining up the slit punches easier and those that attend my stamp camps, tomorrow and Monday get this template. If you are interested in the template, I will mail it to anyone who visits my Stampin' Up! website and orders either the Slit punch or Photo corner punch and a package of Designer series paper. Thank you Lisa for the great card.

Don't you just love this Santa and Reindeer. I just had to put him in my decorator plate. The crystal Effects on Santa, the Reindeers eyes, nose and the holly berries doesn't show in the scan, but it really takes this project to the next level. I made the Winter Post plate (below) at a Late Night Stampers make-and-take class at convention.  All Supplies are Stampin' Up! unless notated.

Patterned Pines meets Shimmer Paint

I'm back. It has been a long two months, with me being sick more days than well, but I think I have finally recovered. At least I am back stamping again. I have a really fun class scheduled that will allow you to play with the new Shimmer Paints from Stampin' Up! You cannot really tell in the scan but the trees in this card have a beautiful sheen to them. I put 3 drops of Handsome Hunter reinker and 3 drops of Frost White Shimmer paint in a paint pallette, then applied with a sponge dauber. I cased this card from Http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1525351?&cat=17813 but changed the colors, the ribbon, left off the bow and the sentiment, and placed my ribbon behind the top note die. I hope you like it.
