Easter Bunny Pillow Box Basket tutorial
I have been asked for directions for the pillow box basket I posted on March 8, 2010, so I made up this tutorial. I hope you enjoy making your basket.

Easter Bunny Pillow Box Basket

All supplies Stampin' Up! unless noted:
Ink: Pretty in Pink classic
Paper: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink and Basic Black cardstock
Accessories:  Small and Large oval punches, Large Heart punch, 1" and 1/2" circle punches, Pillow box bigz die, Big Shot die cut machine, Signo white gel pen, Stampin' sponges, Stampin dimensionals, Sticky Strip, White Organza ribbon (11” long), tombow mono multi liquid glue, sticky strip.

1. Die cut 3 whisper white pillow boxes.

2. Fold box at fold line and cut away area marked with crosshatch so that the both panels match. Cut away the area on only one end, because you will trim the other end to be straight across for the bottom of your box, but be sure that you are trimming the same edge on all three boxes.

3. Place sticky strip on flap as shown on all three boxes.

4. Attach flap of 1st box to the side without the flap of box #2. repeat, attaching to box 3. Attach box 2 to box one. Note: Make sure the flap is on the inside of the basket.


5. Trim bottom flat as shown.



6. Cut 3 strips of cardstock 1” x 5”  and score ½” from each end. Apply Sticky strip to one end. Attach to basket with the tab towards the bottom of the basket.

7. Apply Tape to strips and attach 4” circle. Flip basket over, apply tape to strips and add circle to inside of basket.

8. Punch 3 Whisper White 1” circles, cut one in half. Punch 2 Basic Black ½” circles and 1 Pretty in Pink ½” circle. Using the Signo white gel pen make a ¼” curved line on each of your black circles. Punch 2 Pretty in Pink small ovals, and 2 Whisper White large ovals and 2 Whisper White Large hearts. Sponge both hearts, all four ovals, the 1” circle that are cut in half (do not sponge the whole 1” circles. Sponge the ½” Pretty in Pink circle. Glue black circle to White circles and place on basket for the bunny’s eyes. Using the Paper you punched your 1/2” circle as a template sponge checks on the bunny face. Using Stampin’ dimensionals add the eye lids and nose. Glue small pink ovals to large white ovals and attach to inside of basket for ears. Bend one ear forward. Attach hearts at the bottom for feet.

9. Attach ribbon to inside of basket by adding ¾” sticky strip to each end.

10. Add easter grass, and a pom pom to back of bunnie for tail.

11. Enjoy your finished Bunny basket!!
