Don't you just love this little bird cage and how it lends itself to a great vintage feel. Although we made quite a few modifications my inspiration came from Maggie. you can view her card at:

This is the fourth card for the February stamp camp. I really had fun paper piecing Tess, distress has always been a favorite technique of mine. I used Bella Bleu, a distressed flower, the birdcage, the Eyelet border punch like Maggie did, but left off the panel with the En Francais (choosing to stamp it only on the flower), We crimped and sponged the Eyelet border instead of stamping on it. We left off the second layer of ribbon, the botton, the sentiment, and changed the card size to a Standard A2.
Stamps: Happy Moments, En Francais
Paper: Bella Bleu Designer Series Paper, Not Quite Navy and Very Vanilla cardstock
Ink: Basic Brown and Close to Cocoa classic ink, Not Quite Navy Stampin' Write Marker
Accessories: Eyelet Border punch, Paper crimper, Chocolate Taffetta ribbon, Flower layers #3 Original Sizzix die, Big Shot die cutting machine, Stampin' sponges, Distressing tool from the cutter kit.
Thanks for looking.
